The Chill Factory, an ice cream shop downtown, has added some savory options to its menu.
The location’s new menu will feature scratch-made burgers, hot dogs, chili dogs and gyros served with house made tzatziki. Small snacks such as Carolina Kettle chips, Doritos and Takis will be available, as well as various hot drinks.
“It’s been our dream to open a restaurant, and when we first saw The Chill Factory, we knew we could turn the space into so much more than an ice cream shop,” said Kathryn Casey, owner at The Chill Factory. “My husband, Brandon, went to culinary school and is always coming up with … twists on original favorites, so it seemed a natural next step to offer food [that] caters to the adults looking to get a bite while the littles enjoy some ice cream.”…
