ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Weather Warn Days were issued for Saturday, Jan. 31, and Sunday, Feb. 1, due to the chance of another winter storm.
Computer models are signaling a favorable winter pattern set up for the Southeast this weekend.
The western Carolinas will have plenty of cold air locked in place going into Friday.
Models are developing a coastal low, but the outcome across the North Carolina mountains and Upstate South Carolina will depend entirely on the track of that low.
A storm track closer to the coast would mean more winter impacts for our side of North and South Carolina. A track just offshore could bring some wintry impacts, while a track across Florida and out to sea would not impact us here at all…
