GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville Police Department reports a man is facing drug trafficking, firearm and kidnapping charges after an investigation.
Officers said a call for service was made regarding a domestic violence situation. The investigation on Jenkins Street led to a drug bust.
Police report seizing:
- Two pounds of cocaine
- 2.5 pounds of marijuana
- 99 grams of crack cocaine
- Four firearms, including two stolen firearms
- Body armor
- More than $2,000 in U.S. currency
Melvin Boswell is facing the following charges:
- Trafficking cocaine
- Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- Felon in possession of firearms and body armor
- Possession of stolen firearms
- Domestic violence 2nd degree
- Kidnapping
