Bridge over I-85 hit for second time in less than two months

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – For the second time in less than two months, the same bridge over Interstate 85 was struck by a vehicle Tuesday.

According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, the Nazareth Road bridge over I-85 in Spartanburg County was hit and suffered additional damage.

Traffic cameras showed crews working Tuesday afternoon to remove damaged concrete from the bridge and from the interstate below.
