A lack of adequate heat proved fatal for an Anderson man during this past weekend’s winter storm.
According to Alyssa H. Whitfield with the Anderson County Coroner’s Office, Ernest Howard Nash, 67, of Anderson, died of hypothermia on Feb. 2. Whitfield said Nash slept in a home that did not have an adequate heating source.
Over the weekend, winter snow totals ranged from 5 to 7 inches in the Upstate, temperatures dipped to 12 degrees, and an extreme cold warning was issued…
