SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — Bond was denied for a 19-year-old charged with shooting and killing his girlfriend at a Spartanburg County home Tuesday night.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said that Jayvion Nyrek Rice was arrested for murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime after 21-year-old Skyy Ernestasjah Logan was shot at a home on Farm Creek Road in Inman.
Deputies said they responded to the scene just after 9 p.m., after receiving a 911 call from Rice’s mother.
Authorities found Logan on the front porch with a gunshot wound. She was taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, but died from her injuries shortly after 10 p.m…
