GREER, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Greer Police Department reports it is responding after a train and an 18-wheeler collided on Friday.
Officers said the 18-wheeler became stuck on the Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks.
Norfolk Southern said a train traveling north hit the truck around 4:50 p.m.
The following railroad crossings are blocked by the collision:
- 4th Street
- South Line Street
- School Street
- Trade Street
- Able Street
Police report drivers need to find alternate routes to avoid these crossings…
