ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The family of an Anderson County detective who was killed in a wreck is now suing an Upstate ambulance service who employed an EMT who reportedly took photos of his body at the Anderson County morgue.
Last week Tanya Garrett, wife of Detective Mark Garrett, filed a lawsuit in Anderson County against Lauren Jutila, a now-former employee at Medshore Ambulance Services, as well as the ambulance service itself.
On October 1, 2025, Mark Garrett was driving his motorcycle on Anderson Drive at Beaver Dam Road in Williamston when he was reportedly hit by a drunk driver. Garrett was pronounced dead at the scene…
