Utility companies explain increase in bills following winter storms

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Several viewers have reached out with complaints on their utility bills being higher than usual and they want to know if the winter storms played a part.

According to Duke Energy, there was no increased charge on customer bill for recent weather.
