A senior Clemson administrator is leaving the university to accept a promotion elsewhere. Clemson deputy athletic director Kevin White is slated to become the athletic director at Charlotte, according to a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
White held his position at Clemson since 2022. According to his bio, he assisted on “strategic campaigns, facilitated significant student-athlete wellness growth, facility enhancement, athletic success, (and) operational efficiency,” and served “as a connection point for the Board of Trustees.”
White was Clemson’s first black deputy athletic director.
