Fire reported near Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville Co.

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — A fire broke out at a vacant building early Wednesday morning at the intersection of Old Bleachery Road and Edwards Street in Greenville.

The blaze was reported around 3:30 a.m.

At least three dozen firefighters from more than six departments, including the Greenville City Fire, Parker District Fire and the Berea Fire Department, are on the scene of the 8,000- to 10,000-square-foot structure.

“Our guys have worked through the night; we’ve already had a fire this morning, another structure fire, so kudos to these guys. They work hard and put in a lot of sweat and tears that people don’t see,” Assistant Chief Todd Milam, of the Parker District Fire Department, said…
