A South Carolina clothing store owner dubbed the ‘Boutique Bandit’ has been arrested 12 times since the start of the new year on accusations of scamming more than 50 customers out of more than $10,000, authorities said.

Pamela Brooke Schronce, 30, who owns the children’s clothing store Thomas & Turner Boutique in Belton, in Anderson County, is facing numerous criminal charges from several counties after customers claimed they never received orders they paid for, authorities said.

“According to investigators, Schronce scammed at least 54 victims who placed online orders but never received their merchandise,” the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post on Feb. 9. “Detectives say she repeatedly provided fabricated excuses to explain the missing deliveries.”…
