3 charged in health care fraud relating to Greenville medical lab

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Three people were indicted in a health care fraud scheme that stole millions from healthcare benefit programs, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

56-year-old Kevin S. Murdock and 56-year-old Thomas C. Lee of Greenville, as well as 45-year-old Vidhya V. Narayanan of Atlanta, were charged with 16 counts of health care fraud and conspiracy to commit health care fraud.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the indictment claims Murdock owned and operated a Premier Medical Laboratory Services in Greenville, where both Lee and Narayanan were high-level employees. Premier offered diagnostic testing services for medical providers, including COVID-19 testing…
