CLARENDON, S.C. (WIS) – The South Carolina Department of Corrections (SCDC) announced that a woman was charged with providing contraband to inmates.
The SCDC’s inspector general released arrest warrants Thursday for a correctional officer at Perry Correctional Institution. Kimberly Ann Christopher, 42, of Iva, was charged with providing contraband to inmates and misconduct in office.
According to warrants, from May 2024 through Oct. 2025, Christopher allegedly used Cash App to send money to multiple inmates at Turbeville Correctional at “the request and direction of her husband”, an inmate there…
