Perry correctional officer charged in Turbeville contraband case

A correctional officer at Perry Correctional Institution has been charged in connection with an alleged contraband scheme involving inmates at Turbeville Correctional Institution, according to the South Carolina Department of Corrections.

Kimberly Ann Christopher, 42, of Iva, was charged with providing prisoners with contraband and misconduct in office, the SCDC Inspector General announced Wednesday.
