GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – A ceremony remembering the lives lost to gun violence is slated to take place in Greenville Friday evening.
The Sixth Annual ‘Fallen Angels’ Survivors Event is happening at Summit Upstate Church on Rutherford Road at 6:30pm Friday and it is open to everyone. The aim is to honor gun violence victims, and bring victims’ families, survivors and others together.
Darlene Ham, who is a gun violence survivor herself and an advocate with Everytown Survivor Network, is hosting the event. She told 7NEWS she’ll read the names of more than 500 people who were killed in shootings across the region in just the last eight months during the ceremony…
