SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Spartanburg County Council met for nearly four hours Monday night, with a packed room of residents waiting hours to speak — many frustrated about data centers and how county leaders are handling them.
Data centers weren’t listed on the meeting’s agenda. Residents who came specifically to address them had to wait until public comment — more than three hours into the meeting.

Even without a formal agenda item, data centers came up repeatedly.
