Landrum appoints John “J.J.” Sauve as interim city administrator

LANDRUM—Landrum City Council appointed John “J.J.” Sauve, JD, MPA, as interim city administrator during a special meeting on Friday, March 13. Sauve will begin serving immediately as the city transitions following the resignation of City Administrator Shannon Baldwin.

Mayor Bob Briggs said Sauve’s combination of professional experience and local roots made him the right choice for the role.

“J.J. brings something to this role that really matters to our community—he grew up right here in this area and understands what makes Landrum special,” Briggs said. “He’s got the education and experience from more than twenty years in local government and consulting, and he’s someone who has been part of this community for a long time.”…
