GREER, S.C. (WSPA) – A plane carrying 94 passengers had to turn around Monday evening after smoke was smelled in the cabin, according to Greenville-Spartanburg Airport officials.
A Boeing 737 with Southwest Airlines was departing from GSP around 8 p.m. when crew began to notice the smell of smoke coming from the cabin. The plane was immediately turned around, officials said.
The GSP Fire Department is currently inspecting the plane.
