An advanced materials company will open its first South Carolinamanufacturing operation in Greer with a $17.5 million investment. The company says the operation will create 50 new jobs.
According to an announcement from the Greenville Area Development Corp., United Composite Materials LLC will use two existing facilities as specialized manufacturing sites for production of advanced carbon composite material.
