SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Hazmat crews responded to a chemical facility in Spartanburg County Thursday morning.
According to Spartanburg County Emergency Management, crews responded to the Celanese facility on U.S. 221 near Enoree.
According to officials from Celanese, a rail car at the facility was demonstrating “abnormal activity” prompting the company to call for local emergency response.
