On Tuesday afternoon, multiple agencies responded to Martin’s Lake in Gray Court after a call came in from a person that said their friend fell off of a boat and did not resurface.
Dive teams searched the water for several hours Tuesday evening and resumed the search Wednesday morning. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) has since confirmed the man has been recovered from the private pond.
SCDNR said it “extends sincere condolences to the victim’s family and thank all assisting agencies for their support.”…
