Man arrested after refusing to leave Augusta National Golf Club property

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – 36-year-old Matthew Stroud, of Easley, S.C., was arrested Monday, April 6th, for a single charge of Trespassing after being asked to leave Augusta National Golf Club Property.

According to a citation filed against Stroud, he “refused to leave Masters property even after being told to leave multiple times by GBI Agents.”

He was arrested at 2600 Washington Road near the Magnolia Lane entrance to the Augusta National Golf Club…
