SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – A portion of East Main Street in Spartanburg has been closed while crews respond to a broken gas line.
The Spartanburg Fire Department confirmed it was responding to a reported gas leak on East Main Street. East Main Street has been closed from its intersection with Webber Road down to the intersection of Plainview Drive and Zion Hill Road.
According to Spartanburg Police Department, the leak was caused by a construction worker who punctured a fuel line. Officials with Piedmont Natural Gas are on the scene and working to address the leak…
