The Greenville Council of Garden Clubs will welcome the public beyond the garden gates this week for the 2026 Spring Garden Tour, a two-day self-driving tour featuring five private gardens in the Simpsonville area.
The tour, themed Carolina Outdoor Living, is scheduled for Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The event is designed to showcase inspiring outdoor living spaces and gardens that are normally hidden from public view, giving guests a rare look at how Upstate homeowners create welcoming landscapes, gathering spaces, and personal retreats.
This year’s stops include a range of settings, from a nearly century-old home in the heart of Simpsonville to country estate gardens, a creative do-it-yourself garden full of personality, and a tucked-away suburban backyard oasis. Visitors can move through the tour at their own pace, speak with gardeners, shop vendors, and take home practical ideas for their own yards, patios, and outdoor rooms…
