HARRISBURG, Pa. — More than 1,000 members of the Nepali community gathered in Pennsylvania’s capital city to celebrate Nepal Parade Day, showcasing culture, unity and diaspora pride.
Organized by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Pennsylvania Chapter, the event brought together Nepalis from across the state and neighboring areas, highlighting Nepal’s cultural diversity and the growing presence of the community in the United States.
The parade turned downtown Harrisburg into a vibrant display of Nepali heritage, with participants dressed in traditional attire, performing cultural dances and music, and waving Nepali and American flags.
