(WHTM) – A low-flying helicopter will be spraying a thick, brown liquid over several central Pennsylvania counties.
The York County Office of Emergency Management, citing the Department of Environmental Protection, says the spraying is for black fly (gnat) suppression.
The spraying will be conducted in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Huntingdon, Juniata, Mifflin, Perry, Lebanon, and York counties over the Juniata River, Aughwick Creek, Conewago Creek, Conodoguinet Creek, Tuscarora Creek, Sherman Creek, and Swatara Creek…
