U.S. Army awards $535 million contract to build tanks in York County

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — The U.S. Army has just awarded a $535 million contract to BAE Systems to support the production of additional tanks at their York County facility.

According to BAE Systems, this new contract will specifically go towards the production of additional M109A7 Paladin Self-Propelled Howitzers and M992A3 Ammunition Carriers for the U.S. Army.
