The $12.1 million project to replace a bridge in Lower Southampton and Middletown finished more than a year ahead of schedule.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Thursday that the Brownsville Road bridge over Neshaminy Creek is now open. The project began in November 2024, and construction commenced last March. The bridge was originally set to be completed in September 2027.
