Nationally-known artist displays, will talk railroad art at local conference

(WHTM) — A nationally-known railroad artist is speaking in the Midstate on Friday night.

It’s part of the Railway and Locomotive Historical Society’s annual conference taking place this week in Dauphin County.

Railroad art is on display, including pieces by Craig Thorpe, who’s been in the craft for 40 years. One of his pieces shows new and old passing by the historic Pennsylvania Railroad station at Lewistown — a GM Aerotrain on the right and a steamer on the left.
