DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — The Steelton Volunteer Fire Department said it is investigating “recent Facebook posts and allegations” about its department.
The fire department’s board of directors wrote Monday that a review is underway to assess the facts of the situation and determine what to do next.
“We understand the concern these allegations may cause within our community and among our stakeholders,” the fire department wrote on Facebook. “Please be assured that the Steelton Volunteer Fire Department is dedicated to handling this matter responsibly, fairly, and with integrity.
