Vehicle accident – At 6:15 a.m. May 18, a 2019 Honda HRV driven by a 52-year-old Newmanstown man was northbound on South Pine Grove Street when a westbound 2025 Kia Sportage driven by a 28-year-old Harrisburg man on Shirksville Road failed to stop at the stop sign. The Honda struck the Kia as it entered the intersection. Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt nor sustained injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. Police charged the 28-year-old with duties at a stop sign.

Vehicle accident – At 3:03 p.m. June 8, a 2015 Ford F-150XLT driven by a 39-year-old Jonestown woman was traveling east on Route 22 when the Ford failed to stop at the intersection for a steady red light. A 2023 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 78-year-old Lebanon man was traveling north on Blue Mountain Road when the Ford crashed into the Chevrolet. The woman was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. The man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained a suspected minor injury, but was not transported. Both vehicles were disabled and towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. Life Lion EMS and Fredericksburg Fire Company assisted on the scene.

Vehicle accident – At 4 p.m. June 10, a 2013 Subaru Impreza driven by a 22-year-old Harrisburg woman was traveling in the right lane on Route 22 at School Drive when the Subaru struck standing water on the road due to heavy rain. The woman lost control of the Subaru and struck a tree along the road. The woman was wearing a seatbelt and sustained a suspected minor injury, but was not transported…
