Heat wave to push central Pa. temperatures near all-time record high

Will the Harrisburg region reach a new record for an all-time high temperature this week?

A coming heat wave will send temperatures into the triple digits across much of Pennsylvania, forecasters say. It’s driven by a “heat dome” that will trap hot air, offering very little respite, even at night.

The highest temperatures we’ll see, say forecasters, will be in the the southeast and central portions of the state, notably around the Susquehanna Valley and the greater Philadelphia region…
