Windsor Township farm, nearby land eyed for development

A farm and neighboring parcels in Windsor Township are being eyed for development.

The property under consideration is along Cape Horn and Windsor roads and is owned by the Buser family. It is zoned for commercial and medium-density residential use. The neighboring parcels are owned by Spartan Heights along Cape Horn and Ruppert roads. The land totals about 230 acres, according to township meeting minutes.

An attorney representing a prospective buyer will be presenting a petition to the board of supervisors at 6 p.m. Monday, June 29, at township building, 1480 Windsor Road, township manager Jennifer Gunnet said in an email.
