(WHTM) – Crowds gathered across Central Pennsylvania as Union Pacific’s Big Boy No. 4014 made its highly anticipated arrival on Tuesday afternoon.
The 1,800-foot-long locomotive arrived in Lebanon to a crowd of hundreds who got a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
“The turnout (nationwide) is exactly like it is here in Lebanon,” said Ed Dickens, Big Boy’s Primary Engineer.
“What better way to celebrate than this incredible, inspiring, amazing feat of engineering that has never been on the East Coast,” said one railfan from Maryland who came to Lebanon to catch a glimpse of the train…
