(WHTM)– Union Pacific’s Big Boy locomotive rolled through Central Pennsylvania this week, giving train enthusiasts a rare opportunity to see the world’s longest steam engine in person.
The 1.2 million pound train was met by crowds at the Lebanon Train Station on Tuesday before it embarked toward its next stop in Enola. The train will arrive in Lewistown on Wednesday before heading west through Pennsylvania.
Before arriving at its stop in Enola, abc27 News captured the Big Boy traveling over the Rockville Bridge, which spans the Susquehanna River, via drone.
