Public hearings held on Veolia water complaints

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is holding public input hearings this week regarding complaints filed against Veolia Water Company.

Customers in Susquehanna and Lower Paxton Townships and Marysville dealt with months of discoloration issues during the summer of 2025. Some customers said during Tuesday’s hearing that their brown water has not all washed away.

“It was like Russian Roulette,” said Roseann Cadau of Susquehanna Twp. “You get in the shower, you thought it was clear, you’re in the water, then 2 minutes later, when you’re all soaped up, it starts, and the brown water comes at a very rapid pace.”…
