CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) — Following years of revitalization efforts, a former industrial site in Carlisle is being recognized for its success, thanks to Act 2 Land Recycling Program funding.
Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Jessica Shirley visited the area around Carlisle Springs Road, Hanover Street and Fairground Avenue on Friday, which has transformed from a group of vacant industrial buildings into a complex featuring apartments, a hotel, a public park, retail space, and the soon-to-be-opened Pompeii Italian restaurant.
