Lake Wallenpaupack will be drawn down starting in September to facilitate dam testing and maintenance, Brookfield Renewable has announced. The drawdown is done every five years.
Brookfield, the owner and operator of Lake Wallenpaupack and its hydroelectric facilities, conducts the drawdown as part of its requirements under its Federal Energy Regulatory Commission license.
