They were paroled in June for Harrisburg shootings. Now cops say they tried to kill again

Two men charged with trying to kill four people in Swatara Township over the weekend were paroled from prison months ago for their involvement in prior shootings, including one that was fatal.

The four victims were in a Mercedes-Benz that left a bar in Harrisburg and was headed to an after-party on the 5400 block of Derry Street when the shooting happened around 3 a.m. Sunday, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed by Swatara Township police.

The investigation led police this week to charge Azmere Green, 21, of Steelton, Tywaun Bender, 23, and Toddrick Newton, 32, of Harrisburg, each with four counts of attempted homicide.
