HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) — Hersheypark is bringing back its now-annual Halloween event for the fifth time, promising both “spine-tingling haunts” and “scary-good eats.”
Dark Nights gets underway Friday, Sept. 12, the first of eight consecutive weekends of Halloween fun. Park hours are between 5-10 p.m. Fridays, noon to 10 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 9 p.m. on Sundays, with Dark Nights beginning each night at 6 p.m., lasting until 11 p.m. Fridays/Saturdays and 10 p.m. Sundays.

New this year is the Reese’s Depot of Doom, one of five scare zones open to guests. The Depot is stylized like an eerie freight yard, with “fog-drenched boxcars” and “shadowy trespassers starving for company.” Other zones include Path of Shadows: Coven’s Curse, Fallout Zone, Midway of Misery and Darkstone’s Hollow.
Dark Nights also features five unique haunted houses with “evolved stories,” including Kill ‘N Fill Garage, Estate of Evil, Auntie Mortem’s Abattoir, Twisted Carnevil and Haunted Coal Mine…
