Red-tailed hawk tangled in South-Central Pennsylvania powerlines now making a strong recovery

WASHINGTON BORO, Pa. – A hawk trapped in powerlines for more than two hours as rain and sleet fell earlier this month, is spreading her wings once again. On Jan. 10, the juvenile red-tailed hawk was spotted tangled in lines on the 600 block of South 29th Street in Paxtang Borough, Dauphin County.
