(WHTM) – On this day back in 2016, many people were stuck at home due to a massive blizzard that hit the region between Jan. 22 and Jan. 24, 2016. According to the National Weather Service, a slow-moving and powerful storm hit the Mid-Atlantic region for three consecutive days. The storm stretched from Massachusetts to Arkansas and more than 100 million people were affected.
