Pa. Gaming Control Board bans five from all casinos in Commonwealth

Harrisburg, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has added five people to a banned list for all casinos in the Commonwealth.

The Board held a public meeting on Jan. 24 and discussed issues presented by the Office of Enforcement Counsel.

The petitions filed by the Council called for banning five people from all casinos in the Commonwealth for leaving minors unattended while gambling.

A man was placed on the list after leaving a 10-year-old unattended in a vehicle in 86-degree weather at Live! Casino in Philadelphia while he gambled at table games for four hours.

A man was placed on the list after leaving a 9-year-old unattended in a vehicle in 91-degree weather at Rivers Casino Philadelphia for just over an hour to gamble in the sportsbook and table games.

A man was placed on the list after leaving a 5-year-old unattended in a vehicle in 85-degree weather in the parking lot of Presque Isle Downs and Casino in Erie County for 25 minutes while gambling at table games.

A woman was placed on the list after leaving two children, ages 4 and 12, unattended in a vehicle in 8-degree weather at Mount Airy Casino Resort, Monroe County, for 45 minutes while she gambled at slot machines.
