Dauphin County woman facing 120 felonies for pandemic assistance fraud

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A Lykens woman is facing 120 felony charges after State Police say she racked up thousands of dollars of charges on another person’s pandemic unemployment relief card.

Allazay Erdman, 25, is accused of making fraudulent purchases totaling $13,040 with another person’s unemployment assistance card from Sept. 2020 to Nov. 2020, State Police in Harrisburg said in the charges filed.

According to the criminal complaint, Troopers learned the victim applied for a Pandemic Unemployment Assistance ReliaCard from U.S. Bank. and had shared the login information with Erdman.

The victim reported never receiving the card and in January 2021 the card was recovered with signs of wear and an account balance of just $1.
