Order of the Eastern Star PA Chapter celebrated 20 years supporting Susquehanna Service Dogs

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – In Lancaster County, a day for puppy hugging at the Masonic Village.

Order of the Eastern Star PA Chapter celebrated its 20 years of supporting Susquehanna Service Dogs.

Hundreds gathered in Elizabethtown to hear more about SSD and it’s a mission to place assistance dogs with children and adults with disabilities.

Tara Mondock of the PA Order of the Eastern Star said, “The relationship is a long-standing one we appreciate the work we get to do in our communities together to help make a difference for individuals.”

“It’s been a game changer for us they are supportive of everything we do. They are supportive of our puppy raisers,” said Deb Tack, director for Susquehanna Service Dogs.

Order of the easter star pa donated and named the newest SSD puppies the Eastern Star litter.
