Multiple people injured in Harrisburg crash involving USPS van

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM)– A multi-vehicle crash that backed up traffic in Harrisburg Tuesday evening resulted in multiple injuries.

Harrisburg Bureau Police said that there were three vehicles involved and that there were several people transported to the hospital for their non-life-threatening injuries. The call for the crash on US 22 went out just before 7 p.m.

The crash caused a closure in the area of Elmerton Avenue, Wildwood Park Drive and LC to Maclay Street for hours.
