The driver charged in a crash that killed two people during an unsanctioned Jersey Shore car rally will spend 25 years in a state prison, a judge ruled Thursday. The sentence against Gerald J. White was already made through a plea agreement following the deadly event in Wildwood in 2022. Cape May County Superior Court Judge J. Christopher Gibson levied the penalty against White, 38, of New Castle, Delaware, while members of his family and relatives of the two victims stood behind him in court.
