A Highspire police officer was honored for his bravery and professionalism after he deescalated a situation that could’ve been deadly in September, according to officials. The Highspire Borough police department on Friday issued a news release recognizing Officer Troy Patrick Elhajj for how he handled a domestic dispute on Sept. 26 with assistance from Steelton police.
