Columbia, PA – In a surprising turn of events on the morning of February 10, 2024, Christin Lynn Herman, a 49-year-old resident of Columbia, found herself facing charges of retail theft. According to Columbia Borough Police Department, Herman allegedly took a flower and a drink, valued at $1.06 and $1.54 respectively, from a store located in the 900 block of Lancaster Avenue without intending to pay for these items.
The incident, which occurred at approximately 8:58 am, prompted immediate action from local law enforcement. An officer with the Columbia Borough Police Department has since filed charges against Herman, following a review of the circumstances surrounding the alleged theft.
